Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Tripyexperto, we want to ensure you have a clear understanding of the rules governing your travel purchases. Because we operate as an independent travel agency, all flight cancellations, changes, and refunds are strictly subject to the fare rules set by the issuing airline. Please read the following policies carefully before submitting a cancellation or refund request.

1. 24-Hour Cancellation Window

Many airlines offer a standard 24-hour cancellation policy. If your booking qualifies, you may cancel your ticket within 24 hours of the original purchase time for a full refund, provided that the departure date is at least 7 days (168 hours) away at the time of booking.

• To utilize this 24-hour window, you must contact our support desk directly via phone before the 24-hour period expires.
• Not all airlines (specifically certain low-cost and international carriers) participate in the 24-hour refund rule. Our agents will inform you of your ticket's eligibility when you call.

2. Standard Flight Cancellations

If you need to cancel your flight outside of the 24-hour window, the outcome depends entirely on the fare class you purchased:

• Non-Refundable Tickets: The vast majority of discounted, promotional, and "Basic Economy" airline tickets are strictly non-refundable. If you cancel a non-refundable ticket, you will not receive your money back. In some cases, the airline may issue a future travel credit (valid for up to one year from the original issue date), minus an airline-imposed cancellation penalty.
• Refundable Tickets: If you purchased a premium, fully refundable fare, you may cancel your ticket and receive a refund back to your original form of payment, subject to the airline's processing timeline and any applicable agency processing fees.

3. Flight Changes and Exchanges

If you wish to change your travel dates, times, or routing rather than cancelling entirely:

• You will be responsible for paying the airline change fee (which varies by carrier and route) plus any difference in fare between your old ticket and the new ticket.
• Basic Economy tickets generally do not allow any changes or modifications under any circumstances.
• Tickets are strictly non-transferable. You cannot change the name on a ticket to give it to another person.

4. Agency Processing Fees

Because Tripyexperto must manually negotiate and process modifications with the airline on your behalf, we charge an Agency Processing Fee for all voluntary cancellations, refunds, and ticket exchanges. This fee is charged per passenger and is entirely separate from any penalties charged by the airline itself. Our agents will disclose the exact amount of our processing fee before finalizing your requested change.

5. Involuntary Cancellations (Airline-Initiated)

Occasionally, an airline may cancel or significantly alter your flight schedule due to weather, mechanical issues, or operational changes (an "Involuntary Cancellation").

• If the airline cancels your flight, you are generally entitled to be rebooked on the next available flight at no additional cost, or you may opt for a full refund of the unflown portion of your ticket.
• Tripyexperto does not charge agency processing fees for refunds or rebookings that are strictly the result of an airline-initiated cancellation.

6. No-Show Policy

If you fail to arrive at the airport, check-in on time, or board your flight without notifying us or the airline in advance, you will be classified as a "No-Show."

In the event of a No-Show, the airline will automatically cancel your entire remaining itinerary (including return flights), and your ticket will instantly lose all of its value. No refunds or future travel credits will be issued.

7. Refund Processing Timelines

Once a refund request is approved and initiated by the airline, please be aware that the processing time is out of our control:

• Credit card refunds typically take 1 to 2 billing cycles (15-30 business days) to reflect on your bank statement.
• Future travel credits are usually issued to your passenger profile within 24 to 48 hours.
